For Glowing Face:

Milk Cleanser: This is one ingredient that forms the base of many cleansers. Take full cream milk in a small bowl. Dab a cotton pad in it and spread it all over the face. Using clean fingers, massage the milk into the skin in upward and circular motion. Take another cotton pad, dip very cold water and remove the milk from the face and neck.

Buttermilk and Fennel Cleanser : In the top part of a double boiler, heat ½ cup buttermilk and two tablespoons of crushed fennel seeds, for half an hour. Remove from heat and let it sit for a while. Strain and pour into bottle and refrigerate. Cleanse the face with this concoction using a cotton pad.

Mask of Face:

Honey Face Mask: Soak a clean hand towel in warm water, squeeze out all the water, and place it on your face for a minute. This will open up the pores. Now, apply honey on the face and neck and rinse it off, first with warm water, then with cold after half a hour. Use it once a week after cleaning the face well.

Egg White Mask: Separate the egg yolk from the white and add a little milk to it. Blend it well, and using a thick clean paint brush, apply it all over the face and neck in upward direction. Let it dry, let it really stretch the face. Rinse face with cold water. This is an old beauty treatment used by Japanese women.

Avocado Carrot Cream Mask : Combine one ripe avocado (mashed), one steamed and mashed carrot, half cup fresh full cream, one well beaten egg and three tablespoons of honey in a bowl. Blend it well until smooth. Spread it all over your cleansed face and neck and leave it for half an hour before washing it off with cold water. It is best to lie down when you have the mask on, else it could drip down. Read more on:
